A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHEROKEE NATION MARSHAL SERVICE TO DONATE ONE (1) 1993 CHEVROLET AMBULANCE TO CRAIG COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people;
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Marshal Service has a 1993 Chevrolet Ambulance Vin# 1GCKH37N0P3302079 in its fleet that is no longer in service.
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Marshal Service desires to donate this vehicle in "as- is" condition.
WHEREAS, the donation of this vehicle to Craig County Emergency Management within the Cherokee Nation would substantially support and enhance the effectiveness of the cross-deputation relationship with the Cherokee Nation and for the benefit of our Cherokee communities.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the Tribal Council hereby authorizes Cherokee Nation Marshal Service to donate the salvageable vehicle as set out above, which is located at the Cherokee Nation Marshal Service, to the Craig County Emergency Management.
