A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHEROKEE NATION WAREHOUSE TO DONATE SURPLUS OFFICE EQUIPMENT TO BALLOU INDIAN BAPTIST CHURCH IN MAYES COUNTY
Body
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people;
 
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;
 
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Warehouse has the following office equipment in its inventory that has been deemed surplus:
 
      1 Hon 5 drawer file cabinet CN#2944
      1 Hon 5 drawer file cabinet CN#07554
      1 wooden desk CN#35477
      1 red office chair
 
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Warehouse desires to donate this office equipment in "as- is" condition.
 
WHEREAS, the Ballou Indian Baptist Church located within the Cherokee Nation jurisdictional boundaries, operates on limited funds and the donation of this office equipment would benefit them greatly.  
            
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the Tribal Council hereby authorizes Cherokee Warehouse to donate this surplus office equipment to the Ballou Indian Baptist Church located in Mayes County as set out above.
