A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DONATION OF SURPLUS OFFICE EQUIPMENT TO THE STILWELL POLICE DEPARTMENT
Body
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people; and,

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America; and,

WHEREAS, it is beneficial for the Cherokee Nation to advance the quality of life of its citizens and for all peoples of Oklahoma; and,
WHEREAS, the Council of the Cherokee Nation has a great interest in working with and supporting law enforcement agencies within the 14 county jurisdiction of the Cherokee Nation; and
WHEREAS, the City of Stilwell recently built and opened a new police department building and
WHEREAS, the Council of the Cherokee Nation desires to donate certain furniture which consists of guest chairs, desk chairs, plastic stackable chairs, file cabinet, office chairs, and desks and the following items with Cherokee Nation Property Control Numbers:
