A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHEROKEE NATION WAREHOUSE TO DONATE SURPLUS ITEMS TO BELL PUBLIC SCHOOL

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation, since time immemorial, has exercised the sovereign right of self-government on behalf of the Cherokee people.
WHEREAS the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government-to-government relationship with the United States of America.
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Warehouse has the following items in its inventory that have been deemed surplus:

The Cherokee Nation Warehouse desires to donate these items in "as-is" condition.
WHEREAS the Bell Public School operates on limited funds within the Cherokee Nation's jurisdictional boundaries, donating said items would benefit them greatly.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION that the Tribal Council authorizes Cherokee Nation Warehouse to donate these surplus items to Bell Public School as set out above.
