A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DONATION OF SURPLUS INTERCOM SYSTEM EQUIPMENT FROM SEQUOYAH SCHOOLS TO MULDROW PUBLIC SCHOOLS

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people;
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;
WHEREAS, Cherokee Nation Sequoyah Schools has installed new intercom system equipment, will surplus the old equipment, and Muldrow Public Schools has intercom equipment of the same brand which the surplus equipment could be utilized to repair;
WHEREAS, Cherokee Nation Sequoyah Schools recognizes the need to be resourceful with out Nation's assets and assist our public schools when possible.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the Tribal Council hereby authorizes the donation of surplus Bogen 2000 Intercom-Clock System equipment, Serial Number 740154740, to Muldrow Public Schools
