Title

A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE REAPPOINTMENT OF FAN ROBINSON AS A COMMISSIONER OF THE CHEROKEE NATION TAX COMMISSION.

Body

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Tax Commission Board of Commissioners was established and authorized by Title 68 §11 of the Cherokee Nation Code Annotated;

WHEREAS, the Principal Chief is authorized by Title 68 §12 to select the members of the Commission subject to majority vote of the Council of the Cherokee Nation;

WHEREAS, Fan Robinson is duly qualified to fill this position pursuant to the laws of the Cherokee Nation and is hereby nominated for reappointment; and,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that Fan Robinson is hereby confirmed as a Commissioner of the Cherokee Nation Tax Commission for a term of three (3) years beginning February 15^th 2022 and expiring February, 2025.
