WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation, since time immemorial, has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government on behalf of the Cherokee people.
WHEREAS the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government-to-government relationship with the United States of America.
The Cherokee Nation desires to donate this vehicle in "as-is" condition.

WHEREAS the Will Rogers Downs, is located within the Cherokee Nation's jurisdictional boundaries, and donating said vehicle would benefit them greatly.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION that the Tribal Council authorizes Cherokee Nation to donate this vehicle to Will Rogers Downs as set out above.
