WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation, since time immemorial, has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government on behalf of the Cherokee people.
WHEREAS the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government-to-government relationship with the United States of America.
WHEREAS the Cherokee Nation desires to donate this item in “as-is” condition

WHEREAS the Native American Fellowship, Inc., located within the Cherokee Nation's jurisdictional boundaries, operates on limited funds, and donating said item would benefit them greatly.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION that the Tribal Council authorizes the Cherokee Nation to donate this surplus item to Native American Fellowship, Inc. as set out above.
