A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHEROKEE NATION ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAMS (CNEP) TO DONATE ONE XRF TO CHEROKEE-CRC (C-CRC)

Body

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;

WHEREAS, Cherokee Nation Environmental Programs has a XRF which has been replaced by an updated unit and is no longer needed;

WHEREAS, Cherokee Nation Environmental Programs has limited space to store unused equipment;

WHEREAS, Cherokee Nation Environmental Programs has an ongoing business relationship with Cherokee CRC (C-CRC);

WHEREAS, C-CRC staff has experience operating a XRF and can make use of the equipment.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the Tribal Council authorizes Cherokee Nation Environmental Programs to donate a XRF to Cherokee CRC.
