A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DONATION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY TO NSU

Body

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;

WHEREAS, Cherokee Nation Real Estate Services has letter sized metal shelving in its vault that is being replaced with legal sized shelving;

WHEREAS, Cherokee Nation Real Estate Services desires to donate said personal property to Northeastern State University (NSU) for the use and benefit of the university.  

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation and/or his authorized designee(s) be authorized to grant the donation of the letter sized metal shelving to NSU.
