A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHEROKEE NATION WAREHOUSE TO DONATE SURPLUS ITEMS TO UNITED WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT FOUNDATION

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation, since time immemorial, has exercised the sovereign right of self-government on behalf of the Cherokee people;
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government-to-government relationship with the United States of America;
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Warehouse has the following items in its inventory that have been deemed surplus:

The Cherokee Nation Warehouse desires to donate these items in "as-is" condition.
WHEREAS the United Wrestling Entertainment Foundation operates on limited funds within the Cherokee Nation's jurisdictional boundaries, donating said items would benefit them greatly.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION that the Tribal Council authorizes Cherokee Nation Warehouse to donate these surplus items to United Wrestling Entertainment Foundation as set out above.
