RESOLUTION NO. #23-90
RESOLUTION RENAMING THE JAY CLINIC
THE "SAM HIDER COMMUNITY CLINIC"
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma is a federally recognized Indian Tribe, organized in accordance with a Constitution approved by the Commissioner of Indian Affairs on September 5, 1975 and ratified June 26, 1976, and;
WHEREAS, Sam Hider has been active in Cherokee community affairs for over two decades and has attended virtually every benefit for the Jay Clinic, and;
WHEREAS, Mr. Hider is a well respected member of the Jay Cherokee community, having served on the board of the Adair County Indian Credit Association for a number of years, and;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the said facility shall be named the "SAM HIDER COMMUNITY CLINIC".
CERTIFICATION
The foregoing resolution was adopted by the Council of the Cherokee Nation at a duly called meeting on the 10th day of MARCH / 1990, having
10 members present, constituting a quorum, by the vote of 10 yea;
0 nay; 0 abstaining.
