AN ACT AMENDING L.A. 4-85 � 2, AS AMENDED, TO ADD A NEW SUBSECTION H PROVIDING FOR A STANDING COMMITTEE
ON THE LANGUAGE, HISTORY AND CULTURE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

BE IT ENACTED BY CHEROKEE NATION:
Legislative Act 4-85, 2, codified at 19 CNCA, Ch. 2, � is hereby amended to add a new subsection "1.1" Accordingly, section 11 of Title 19, shall read in its entirety as follows:
SECTION II. Standing Committees�Establishment
The following Standing Committees of the Council are hereby established:
A. Community Development/Tribal Services
B. Rules Committee
C. Resources Committee
D. Employment Committee
E. Executive and Finance Committee
F. Education Committee
G. Health Committee
H. Language, History and Culture Committee
Emergency Declared.
It being immediately necessary for the welfare of Cherokee Nation, the Council hereby declares that an emergency exists, by reason whereof this act amending L.A. 4-85 � 2, as amended, shall take effect and be in full force immediately after its passage and approval.
