A RESOLUTION TO INITIATE THE CHEROKEE NATION HEALTH DENTAL CROWN PROGRAM
Body
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people; and,
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America; and,
WHEREAS, it is beneficial for the Cherokee Nation to advance the quality of life of its citizens and for all peoples of Oklahoma; and,
WHEREAS, the health and welfare of all Cherokee citizens and assuring that the highest quality possible of dental services are made available are significant issues and concerns of the Cherokee Nation; and,
WHEREAS, Cherokee Nation Health has developed a policy to initiate the Cherokee Nation Dental Crown Program; and, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the Council hereby resolves to initiate the Cherokee Nation Dental Crown Program and utilize the policy developed by Cherokee Nation Health Services.
