A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHEROKEE NATION WAREHOUSE TO DONATE SURPLUS OFFICE EQUIPMENT TO INDIAN CAPITAL TECHNOLOGY CENTER'S CRIMINAL JUSTICE PROGRAM IN CHEROKEE COUNTY

Body

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government on behalf of the Cherokee people;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Warehouse has the following office equipment in its inventory that has been deemed surplus:

12 Individual 1^st Aid Kits containing the following items:

            1 Israeli Bandage 4"

1 Tape 1"x10yds.

2 ABD Pads 5"x9"  

1 H&H Compress Gauze 4.5"x4.1yds.

1 Nasopharyngeal Airway with  Lubricant

1 TK4 Tourniquet

1 Set of EMT Shears 7.5"

2 Sets of Black Nitrile Gloves

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Warehouse desires to donate this office equipment in "as- is" condition.

WHEREAS, the Indian Capital Technology Center located within the Cherokee Nation jurisdictional boundaries, operates on limited funds and the donation of this office equipment would benefit them greatly.  

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the Tribal Council hereby authorizes Cherokee Warehouse to donate this surplus office equipment to the Indian capital Technology Center located in Cherokee County as set out above.
