A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF A RIGHT-OF-WAY UNDER THE ARKANSAS RIVERBED FOR A GAS LINE

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people;
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;
WHEREAS, A right-of-way easement has been prepared in favor of Oklahoma Natural Gas Company, on approximately 1.17 acres of Arkansas Riverbed Property in Lot 3 Section 21, Township 15 North, Range 19 East, in Muskogee County, Oklahoma, having a term of 25 years, at a rate of $1,800.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the Tribal Council hereby authorizes and approves a grant of right-of-way in favor of Oklahoma Natural Gas Company, in accordance with the terms and conditions stated above.
