A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A LOAN FROM CHEROKEE NATION BUSINESSES, L.L.C., TO THE CHEROKEE NATION COMPREHENSIVE CARE AGENCY

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people;
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;
WHEREAS, that pledges of credit for any loans require approval by the Tribal Council in accordance with Article X of the Constitution and Title 62, Section 61 and 62 of the Cherokee Nation Code (62 CNCA ยงยง61-62);
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Comprehensive Care Agency, PACE Project, wishes to pledge credit to finance PACE Building with a total cost not to exceed $1,400,000;
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Comprehensive Care Agency (CNCCA) desires to acquire financing for the above purposes for a term not to exceed 30 years, for an amount not to exceed $1,400,000, and shall bear interest fixed at the date of closing.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the CNCCA Board and/or designee is hereby authorized and directed to execute all documents relating to the financing not to exceed $1,400,000, for the purpose of financing the PACE Building.
