A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE RENOMINATION OF LETICEA STEVENSON-PABLO AS A BOARD MEMBER OF CHEROKEE NATION COMPREHENSIVE CARE AGENCY BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Body

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Comprehensive Care Agency was created and authorized as a Tribal Agency by Article V, Section 7 of the Constitution of the Cherokee Nation and Legislative Act #3-04;

WHEREAS, the Principal Chief is authorized by Section 5.E. of LA#3-04 to select the members of the Board subject to confirmation by majority vote of the Council of the Cherokee Nation;

WHEREAS, the term of office of Leticea Stevenson-Pablo expires June 2008 and has been selected to be renominated by the Principal Chief

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that Leticea Stevenson-Pablo is hereby confirmed as a Governing Board Member of the Cherokee Nation Comprehensive Care Agency for a term of (3) years from June 2008 until June 2011.
