A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHEROKEE NATION WAREHOUSE TO DONATE SURPLUS EQUIPMENT TO STOKES STOMP GROUNDS IN SEQUOYAH COUNTY

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people;

 

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;

 

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Warehouse has the following office equipment in its inventory that has been deemed surplus:

 

Display Cabinet 36” X 48” - CN# N/A

Exit Sign - CN# N/A

Cabinets with Single Drawer 24” X 30” - CN# N/A

Hanging Shelf 12” X 48” - CN# N/A

4 Drawer Cabinet 24” X 24” - CN# N/A

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Warehouse desires to donate this office equipment in “as- is” condition.

 

WHEREAS, the Stokes Stomp Grounds located within the Cherokee Nation jurisdictional boundaries, operates on limited funds and the donation of this office equipment would benefit them greatly. 

 

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the Tribal Council hereby authorizes Cherokee Nation Warehouse to donate this surplus office equipment to the Stokes Stomp Grounds located in Sequoyah County as set out above.
