LEGISLATIVE ACT 26-99
Title
AN ACT AMENDING LEGISLATIVE ACT #19-99 AND APPROVING THE
FISCAL YEAR 2000 BUDGET AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
Body
Section 1. TITLE AND CODIFICATION
This legislative act shall be codified as the amended comprehensive budget for fiscal year 2000.
Section 2. AUTHORITIES GOVERNING THE USE OF FUNDS
A. The Constitution of the Cherokee Nation
B. Cherokee Nation Statutes. See Cherokee Nation Code Annotated.
C. Motor Fuels Contract between the State of Oklahoma and Cherokee Nation.
Section 3. FUNDING AUTHORIZATIONS
The amount of $100,000.00 authorized in Legislative Act 19-99 for a Youth Support Program and made a part of the year 2000 budget is rescinded and those funds are to revert back to Motor Fuels Compact Funds.
Section 4. EFFECTIVE DATE
It being immediately necessary for the welfare of the Cherokee Nation, the Tribal Council hereby declares an emergency exists, by reason whereof this Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval and signatures.
