A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHEROKEE NATION WAREHOUSE TO DONATE SURPLUS OFFICE EQUIPMENT TO 3M FITNESS GYM IN CHEROKEE COUNTY

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government on behalf of the Cherokee people;
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Warehouse has the following equipment in its inventory that has been deemed surplus:
Lockers - CN# 0772
Picnic Table - CN# 0763
Double Sided Chalkboard - CN# 0020
Work Out Bench - CN# 0764
6 Door Metal Lockers - CN# 70309
Small Storage - CN# 0999
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Information Warehouse desires to donate this equipment in “as- is” condition.
WHEREAS, the 3M Fitness Gym located within the Cherokee Nation jurisdictional boundaries, operates on limited funds and the donation of this office equipment would benefit them greatly.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the Tribal Council hereby authorizes Cherokee Nation Warehouse to donate this surplus office equipment to the 3M Fitness Gym located in Cherokee County as set out above.
