A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHEROKEE NATION INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT TO DONATE SURPLUS OFFICE EQUIPMENT TO MOFFETT POLICE DEPARTMENT IN SEQUOYAH COUNTY

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government on behalf of the Cherokee people;
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Warehouse has the following equipment in its inventory that has been deemed surplus:

Furniture Table- Conference Table CN# 0829

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Information Warehouse desires to donate this equipment in “as- is” condition.
WHEREAS, the Moffett Police Department located within the Cherokee Nation jurisdictional boundaries, operates on limited funds and the donation of this office equipment would benefit them greatly.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the Tribal Council hereby authorizes Cherokee Nation Warehouse to donate this surplus office equipment to the Moffett Police Department located in Sequoyah County as set out above.
