A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE RENOMINATION OF JEFF LIMORE AS A BOARD MEMBER OF THE CHEROKEE NATION SEQUOYAH HIGH SCHOOL BOARD OF EDUCATION

Body

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people; and

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America; and

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Sequoyah High School Board of Education was established by Cherokee Nation Resolution No. 72-86; and

WHEREAS, the Tribal Council is authorized to appoint two (2) members of the Board; and

WHEREAS, Jeff Limore is duly qualified to fill Seat one (1) on the Cherokee Nation Sequoyah High School Board of Education: and

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that Jeff Limore is hereby confirmed as a Board Member of the Cherokee Nation Sequoyah High School Board for the term of (5) five years from July 2016 to July 2021.
