Body

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;

WHEREAS, Janelle Lattimore-Fullbright has been active in the affairs of the Cherokee Nation and her home community in Sequoyah County for much of her lifetime;

WHEREAS,  In recognition of her service to the Cherokee Nation and her people, for her leadership abilities and honor that she has brought to us, by serving as the Health Committee Chair and Deputy Speaker of the Council for four years, and as a Council Member for eight years from 2007 - 2015;

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the Redbird Clinic Dialysis Center be named the “Janelle Lattimore-Fullbright Dialysis Center.”
