A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE REAPPOINTMENT OF FANNIE E. ROBINSON AS A COMMISSIONER OF THE CHEROKEE NATION TAX COMMISSION

Body

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government on behalf of the Cherokee people;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Tax Commission Board of Commissioners was created and authorized be Title 68 §11 of the Cherokee Nation Code Annotated;

WHEREAS, Fannie E. Robinson’s term as seat 2 of the Cherokee Nation Tax Commission Board of Commissioners expires February 2019;

WHEREAS, Fannie E. Robinson is duly qualified to serve as a Tax Commissioner, pursuant to the laws of the Cherokee Nation.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the Tribal Council of the Cherokee Nation hereby confirms Fannie E. Robinson as a commissioner of the Cherokee Nation Tax Commission, with a term beginning February 1, 2019 and ending February 1, 2022.
