A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF JULIE EDDY ROKALA AS A BOARD MEMBER OF CHEROKEE NATION BUSINESSES, LLC

Body

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;

WHEREAS, Cherokee Nation Businesses, LLC is a Wholly-Owned Tribal Limited Liability Company created and authorized under the laws of Cherokee Nation; and

WHEREAS, the Principal Chief is authorized to select the members of the Board of Directors, subject to majority vote of the Council of the Cherokee Nation; and,

WHEREAS, Julie Eddy Rokala is duly qualified and should be appointed to Seat Three (3) on the Board of Director of Cherokee Nation Businesses, LLC and its successors; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION; the Tribal Council hereby confirms Julie Eddy Rokala as a member of the Board of Directors of Cherokee Nation Businesses LLC beginning June 6^th 2022 and expiring August 31^st 2024.
