A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHEROKEE NATION WAREHOUSE TO DONATE SURPLUS ITEMS TO NORTH TULSA CHEROKEE COMMUNITY GROUP

Body

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign right of self-government on behalf of the Cherokee people;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Warehouse has the following items in its inventory that have been deemed surplus:

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Warehouse desires to donate these items in "as- is" condition.

WHEREAS, the North Tulsa Cherokee Community Group located within the Cherokee Nation jurisdictional boundaries, operates on limited funds and the donation of said items would benefit them greatly.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the Tribal Council hereby authorizes Cherokee Nation Warehouse to donate these surplus items to North Tulsa Cherokee Community Group as set out above.
