A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE DONATION OF THREE COMPUTERS AND TWO PRINTERS TO THE CLAREMORE VETERANS CENTER IN CLAREMORE, OKLAHOMA

Body

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people and;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America and;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation, has three (3) computers with monitors and two (2) printers that are surplus to the needs of Cherokee Nation Information Systems and,

WHEREAS, the Claremore Veterans Center, in Claremore, Oklahoma, provides 24-hour medical and nursing care for veterans.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation, Chadwick Smith, and/or his authorized designee(s) be authorized to execute the donation of three (3) computers with monitors and two (2) printers to the Claremore Veterans Center, in Claremore, Oklahoma.
