Kendra Sue (Montana) McGeady has resided in District 11 for more than 40 years. Her professional history includes more than a decade as a news reporter covering local, state and regional news across Northeast Oklahoma, four years as the Director of Planning and Development for Home of Hope, Inc., and serving as Director of Pelivan Transit since 2016.During that time she worked together with Cherokee Nation Transportation Department to expanded transit to include the previously unserved communities of Nowata, Catoosa and Jay. Kendra served as vice chair and chair of the Cherokee Phoenix Editorial Board for seven years, and on Cherokee Nation Gaming Commission from 2020 to 2022. She currently serves as Chairwoman of the Southwest Transit Association, the first Native American to hold the position in the associations 15-year history, and represents tribal and rural transit providers on the Community Transportation Association of America Board of Directors

Kendra is a proud member of the Wolf Clan and is a descendant of Nancy Ward, a great Cherokee woman who is revered as a brave warrior and political leader.

Kendra, daughter of (the late) Freddie and Jo Montana, resides in Vinita, Oklahoma, with her husband Tom.
