A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FINANCIAL DEPOSITORIES FOR CHEROKEE NATION
Body
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people;
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Constitution, Article 10 §9 and Cherokee Nation Code Annotated, Title 62 §21 et seq. provides requirements for the approval of a principal depository and subsidiary depositories for Cherokee Nation;
WHEREAS, there is a need to update, authorize and affirm the following financial institutions as depositories and subsidiary depositories for the Cherokee Nation.
