A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE REAPPOINTMENT OF KATHY ADAIR AS A BOARD MEMBER OF CHEROKEE NATION HOME HEALTH SERVICES, INC.

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government on behalf of the Cherokee people; and,
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America; and,
WHEREAS, Cherokee Nation Home Health Services, Inc., is a Wholly-Owned Tribal Incorporated Company created and authorized under the laws of Cherokee Nation; and,
WHEREAS, Legislative Act 17-22, the “Cherokee Nation Home Health Services, Inc. Board Composition and Payment Act of 2022” clarified the Board of Directors composition; and,
WHEREAS, the Principal Chief is authorized to appoint the members of the Board of Directors, subject to confirmation by majority vote of the Council of the Cherokee Nation; and,
WHEREAS, Kathy Adair is duly qualified and should be reappointed to the Board of Directors of the Cherokee Nation Home Health Services.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that Kathy Adair is hereby confirmed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Cherokee Nation Home Health Services, Inc., for a term of three (3) years beginning April 2025 and ending April 30, 2028.
