A RESOLUTION APPROVING A COMPACT FOR CONTRACT HEALTH SERVICES FOR CRAIG COUNTY AND CHEROKEES ONLY IN ROGERS AND NORTH TULSA COUNTY

Body

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;

WHEREAS, that the Cherokee Nation is committed to health services to its citizens; and,

WHEREAS, in order to provide outpatient Contract Health Services for Craig County and Cherokees only in Rogers and North Tulsa County; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the Council of the Cherokee Nation hereby amends the compact to add Outpatient Contract Health Services for all eligible users in Craig County and Outpatient Contract Health Services for Cherokee eligible users only in Rogers and North Tulsa County.
