A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE NOMINATION OF JEFF LIMORE AS A BOARD MEMBER OF THE CHEROKEE NATION SEQUOYAH HIGH SCHOOL BOARD OF EDUCATION

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government in behalf of the Cherokee people;
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;
WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation Sequoyah High School Board of Education was established by Cherokee Nation Resolution No. 72-86;
WHEREAS, the Principal Chief is authorized to appoint Office #1 seat on the Board, subject to majority vote of the Council of the Cherokee Nation;
WHEREAS, the term of office of a Board Member expired March 2010;
WHEREAS, Jeff Limore is duly qualified to fill this vacancy.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that Jeff Limore is hereby confirmed as a Board Member of the Cherokee Nation Sequoyah High School Board for the term of (5) five years from March 2010 to March 2015.
