A  RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHEROKEE NATION TO DONATE ITEMS TO CHEROKEE NATION BUSINESSES

Body

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation since time immemorial has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government on behalf of the Cherokee people;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government to government relationship with the United States of America;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation has the following vehicles in its inventory that have been deemed appropriate for continued use by the Heritage Center.

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation desires to donate these items in "as- is" condition.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION, that the Tribal Council hereby authorizes Cherokee Nation to  donate these vehicles to Cherokee Nation Businesses as set out above.
