A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHEROKEE NATION TO DONATE ITEMS TO THE SALLISAW YOUTH LEAGUE

Body

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation, since time immemorial, has exercised the sovereign rights of self-government on behalf of the Cherokee people;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation is a federally recognized Indian Nation with a historic and continual government-to-government relationship with the United States of America;

WHEREAS, the Cherokee Nation has the following cart in its inventory that has been deemed surplus:

The Cherokee Nation desires to donate this item in "as-is" condition.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHEROKEE NATION that the Tribal Council hereby authorizes Cherokee Nation to  donate this cart to the Sallisaw Youth League as set out above.
